- Less than 20 redundancies: Agree on a meaningful consultation period.
- 20 or more redundancies: Provide formal notification to the Redundancy Payments Service using Form HR1. If no Trade Union representatives exist, facilitate the election of employee representatives. Begin consultation at least 30 days before dismissal notice, and 45 days if more than 100 employees.
